Hi, MM,

Charlie Chandran's unfortunate demise, as I am given to understand,
occurred about 3.30 am last Friday morning, October 25, when he was attempting
to circumnavigate an elevated traffic circle in KL while driving a
recently acquired, reconditioned, 1967 topless ex-military Land Rover which
lacked a safety belt. He was apparently flung out of the vehicle when it struck
the outer wall of the circle, and died instantly of severe head injuries
when he came to rest on the lower roadway. Apparently there were no witnesses.
He was cremated according to Hindu rites that same afternoon.

RIP, Charlie.

Hardy Boy,

Thank you for advising us for the sad news.

Our sincere condolences to yourself and the other members of the RSC.

His dynamic presence as the MC for Goa 2002 definitely contributed to the success of the event.

Sadly missed.

If you (or RSC) are establishing a memorial fund, please advise us accordingly.

We'll lift our hash mugs in his memory
